The Camera Centre have developed their online presence over the last 15 years managing their photographic products and services using the Dotser Content Management System and eCommerce software platform.
In November 2022, Dotser carried out a full website and ecommerce upgrade, including a new look for www.camera.ie
The eCommerce upgrade included new functionalities such as:
Enabling products to be added to a wish list and saved to an account profile
Ability to setup custom products allowing customers to compare specifications
Ability for clients to create their own product bundle options, allowing customs to create their own bundles and make savings.
Ability to setup multiple timed promotions which appear on product pages. These promotions can appear on X date and be removed on Y date
New page which only shows products that have a special offer
New menu enables thumbnails to be displayed for sections and also has ability to feature products per category
- Google Pay / Apple Pay now supported and Paypal latest version now supported.
The Camera Centre's website is powered by the Dotser Commerce system for over 10 years and enjoys top rankings in Google Search results for their main keywords including, 'cameras', 'binoculars', 'telescopes' and more. Competing against international household brands, the Camera Centre still maintains top spot in Google natural rankings for a wide selection of keywords.
